The BAP is a career development initiative by Octoville Centre for Management Development (OCMD). It is a 4-month management and entrepreneurship-based curriculum for entry-level and mid-management professionals. The program is intended to improve the employability of business analysts in a fast-paced and competitive world. It will equip young managers and analysts with skills and competencies to develop and pitch sound, viable business proposals; improve their ability to access finance, boost their funds utilization capacity and offer access to quality trade, investments and market information. It is highly competitive as it is open to only 50 participants per cohort.
The target participants are fresh graduates, aspiring business owners and self-employed personnel. The Entry Level Management Course is designed to raise a crop of managers that could acquire the necessary skill-sets and attitude required to lead business organizations.
The course is predominantly action-learning; participants would receive continuous mentorship and capacity development till their qualification to partake of the Leading Venture Manager Course and lead new organizations or business units.
These are sets of business retreats for senior level managers and leaders in the business community.
This is designed for new venture managers about to lead new organizations and middle level managers leading entire business units. Venture manager participants have had sufficient experience working with other managers and are in the process of seeking investment or have successfully found investment and other resources for their new businesses.
At Octoville, we think Development, Inclusion and Infrastructure. As such, we maintain a culture of Excellence, leveraging key Strategic Partnerships to achieve Sustainability and Enhanced Productivity in critical areas of the African economy.
